You will be working on a self-employed basis, largely from home, and can work hours to suit, but we need someone for minimum 20 hours part-time, up to full time hours.
Searchtech has a base in Leeds and in Shipley, Bradford and is looking for a marketing assistant / manager and writer to work on a wide range of web-related projects, including SEO / website promotion and content development.
You will need to be an excellent copywriter and be interested in some work as a blogger / content writer. You will also be required to take a proactive interest in web2.0 including social media / social networking platforms to enhance website design, visibility and SEO – search engine optimisation.
We can be flexible in terms of the hours and type of candidate, but excellent use of written English is an absolute must. Hourly rate is negotiable and depends on the skills and experience you have to offer. Although this is a largely home-based position, regular meetings are required in Leeds, so being based near the city or around Bradford or Shipley may be more convenient, but we would consider applicants from other areas of West Yorkshire, such as Wakefield, Dewsbury, Halifax, Huddersfield or further afield if you are willing to travel occassionally.
