We are currently looking for a PHP web developer to join our team of IT staff. WebAnywhere is a fast growing Internet company that specialises in multimedia solutions such as web design for the education sector. Our offices are easy to reach from by train, bus or car from the major cities of Leeds and Bradford.

We need a website developer with at least a year’s experience in industry and skills across a range of web and multimedia formats.

You will work both individually and as part of a small team to produce interactive, attractive and highly functional websites for schools and businesses.

Skills required:

- HTML and CSS to produce accessible and search engine friendly websites

- Strong understanding of PHP / MySQL

- Cross browser platforms

- Web standards knowledge

Advantageous experience would include:

  • Drupal, Magento, Joomla and other Open Source or “off-the-shelf” software experience
  • Understanding of the “Semantic Web”
  • JavaScript / JavaScript frameworks
  • AJAX
  • Object oriented PHP skills
  • Understanding of PHP frameworks
